Yota Trom, Founder

Yota Trom (she/her) is Together in tech’s founder. She believes that in order to create a better planet to live in, we need to begin with loving and accepting ourselves. Together in Tech was born with the hope of creating a support network where people in Tech can find themselves and become who they always wanted to be. 

Yota has worked in tech for over 15 years, leading teams at Amazon and Yahoo before getting her MSc in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching. Her pioneering research and resultant publications explore the intersection of coaching and positive psychology. As a UN Women UK Delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, Yota is a powerful advocate for gender diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. 

Yota holds an advisory role to the board of UCL School of Management, contributing her expertise to further education and leadership development.

There is only one thing that outweighs Yota’s love for tech and impact, and that’s her daughter Arianna, who came to the world in September 2020. Yota is originally Greek so sunshine and the sea are her two favourite things in the world!
